UNC Chapel Hill, N.C.
Report by Bill Cook, GoE NC-SC Rep.
We could not have had a more beautiful day to celebrate our troops, the freedoms that they are fighting for, and those Americans who support them.
First and foremost, my thanks to Tony Stevenson for the tremendous job of putting it all together, and to those who gave of their time to assist him.
I had an early feeling of disappointment in the turn out but it faded as the day went on. I had hoped, knowing full well that we were in the heart of liberal America’s moonbat territory; that students would pour out from their dorms to take advantage of a free concert and at the same time be exposed to the truth. That was not to be the case. However, I could not help but notice as students walked though the area referred to as the ‘pit,’ that they would pause and listen for a few minutes, not only to Dwain Cleveland’s words and his patriotic song, or to Stuck-Mojo with their patriotic yet hip metal songs, but to our speakers as well. It was my observation that Major Ted Kaiser caught everyone’s attention and held it longer than even the music. What I’ll call his ‘Report on Iraq,’ was honest, moving, and informative. He focused on the good that our troops are doing, the services they are providing over and above the security of their presence.
During the playing of our National Anthem, I witnessed students stopping to cover their hearts to show honor and respect to America. When we recited the Pledge of Allegiance, I was too focused on the flag to notice if others had joined us, but I suspect that if nothing else, they took notice.
We came, they saw, and could not help but listen, for this time it was our venue and conservative America had a voice in a place where young developing minds are daily influenced by a predominately liberal faculty. They got a dose of American Pride, pride in our troops who everyday put themselves in harms way to protect the very freedoms that allow us to make our everyday choices. It is my hope that we at least gave them pause to think, time to consider our troops and the importance of their mission. To understand that they have all volunteered to serve this great nation, to protect our freedoms, and deserve nothing less than our full support and gratitude.
Mission Complete – Mission Successful!
Report by Ross 'Bubba' McDowell - GOE member and supporter
Perhaps for the first time ever, a group of patriots went to the North Carolina Moonbat Head-quarters - Chapel Hill - to deliver a message of pro-American, pro-Conservative, pro-Military hope and faith in the American way. This message was delivered in the heart of a liberal univeristy campus. It was delivered loudly, firmly and with conviction.
Although our numbers were not what we had hoped for, the objective was realized none the less. In a place dominated by the liberal mind, patriots stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Patriots stood with covered hearts for the National Anthem. Patriots stood and listened to the words and songs of fellow patriotic Americans, including Vietnam and Iraq Veterans.
Some wept.
So, did the liberals and moonbats listen? Probably not. Did we change any minds? Probably not. Did we make a difference today? Most definately so.
The American left has enjoyed unchallenged freedom of speech for decades. Today, hundreds, maybe thousands of liberal minded or liberal influenced knew that the voices being raised were not damning America, not calling for impeachment, not hoping for defeat. The voices they heard today proclaimed the nobility of America, the honor and gratitude owed to the American soldier and the less than honorable and sometimes traitorous behavior of our brethren on the left.
Maybe, just maybe the next time some of them pick up there 'impeach' or 'bush lied' signs in preparation for another anti-war hissy fit - the words of patriots will ring in their ears, minds and hearts.
Perhaps at least one of them will decide they need to open their minds to the possibility that they have been acting on and repeating the lies of traitors. If so, then ....
Mission Accomplished

I think a good place to start is with George Samek. We all know George.
He's always there, and always 'spreading the gospel'.

ok. So George does occasionally take a break to dance with a pretty lady.
I'm purty sure that he was dancing ....

A tribute to the Eagles that did the less glamorous tasks.

STUCK MOJO
I am a bluegrass kinda guy. Loud, head banging, hard rock dont appeal to me much. My wife and I once walked out of Pink Floyd concert during the second song.
But, dangit, I like this band. Stuck Mojo makes you like them. They deliver a great message of conservatism, pride in country and loyalty to the soldiers that make it possible, who have made it possible.
EAGLES

Covert signs of The Protest Warriors. Before you get bent outta shape, read their signs carefully. These signs are designed to blend in with Moonbats and deliver a subtle but strong message.
